Founded in 2000 by Kenneth U. Ekechukwu, MD (Dr.E), MedRad Clinics, SC a hybrid healthcare center that offers diagnostic and interventional radiological services.

Our website offers free information to the public about interventional radiology (IR) and the appropriate use of such diagnostic imaging modalities like plain radiographs, CT scans, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear scans when caring for patients. We also offer various academic activities that inform the public and instructions, we enlighten the public and medical professionals in training.

Dr. Ekechukwu has practiced diagnostic and interventional radiology since 2000 and internal medicine since 1993 and is certified by the American boards of internal medicine and radiology. A graduate of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, he holds a Master's degree in public health from the University of Alabama, Birmingham.

He is a member of the radiological society of north America (RSNA), a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology.

Mission

Medrad Clinics, S.C. has a three-fold Mission: Promote the use of minimally invasive interventional radiological procedures by healthcare providers in caring for their patients; second, elevate the awareness of the specialty among patients; third, offer guiding suggestions on the appropriate use of imaging modalities in caring for the sick to achieve efficiency and reduce cost.
